Australian Internships, established in 1998 is a specialist organisation dedicated to arranging internships for young professionals seeking international experience in their academic field. The program is unique as its principal focus is in identifying and securing the best possible professional internship placement for the applicant. We are able to place students from diverse educational backgrounds into successful internships aligned to their skills and experience.

• What is the purpose of Australian Internship Program?

The purpose of the Australian Internships Program is to provide a unique international training experience, designed for candidates pursuing a career in their chosen field. Hospitality internships are designed for people that would like to participate in practical training in Australia within the hospitality industry.

There are three options of the Australian Internships:

A. Hospitality Program - The Hospitality Program is a paid internship program offered to candidates who are completing or have completed hospitality studies and have relevant hospitality experience. The length of the program is dependent on the applicant’s visa. Programs run for 6, 9 or 12 months.

B. Professional Program - The Professional Internship Program offers candidates in all fields an opportunity to gain professional experience in their field. The positions are non paid training positions and they are available in all major cities of Australia. The length of program is subject to the applicant’s visa. Positions are available in almost all fields. The program runs from 6 – 26 weeks in duration.

C. Volunteer Program - Experience life as a volunteer in an Australian and Indigenous community with projects in Healthcare, Childcare, Education, Housing, Arts and Culture and Environmental Sustainability. Immerse yourself into the impressive nature and cultural heritage with projects in Healthcare, Childcare, Education, Housing, Arts and Culture and Environmental Sustainability. All volunteers will work in partnership with the local people in a variety of community-based projects.
